Individual transport

To travel independently with Green Community Travel, you must first complete and return our registration form.  If you do not have a Diamond Travel Card, your fares will be slightly higher (£2 extra.)

Once the office has called to let you know that your registration has been accepted, you will be able to take part in our outings and use our Ring & Ride or Voluntary Car schemes for social and medical appointments.  Transport is available every day, except on Bank Holidays.  Monday - Friday, we operate R&R until 5pm.

Passengers are asked to be ready ten minutes before their booking time. Please allow ten minutes after the booking time in case the driver is late before calling the office (or emergency number outside of office hours) to report an issue.

Please note that we are not licenced to take same day bookings.  Your transport must be booked at least one day before you travel.

Accessibility Requirements

Please let us know if you will be travelling with a wheelchair or other walking aid.

Baggage restrictions

If you are collecting shopping, please note that you will be restricted to a maximum of three bags as is limited space available on the buses. For health and safety reasons it is important to keep the aisles and exits clear.

Cancellations

To avoid paying cancellation charges, please let us know as soon as possible if you no longer require the transport you have booked.

This line is for emergency use only, do not use this for enquiries or to make bookings when other lines are engaged.  However, in cases of severe weather, this line may be used to check whether the buses are running or to cancel a journey outside of normal office hours.
